Black Student Union at San Francisco State is were it all began. Once you just said to utter the word "BSU" - at SF State and you could focus on what you wanted and get it. More, if the leaders of the SF BSU spoke - and they did speak up - the authorities and others listened. After years of stagnation - a few BSU students have taken on a task to light a "fire" and try their best to "enthuse" and "prod" and take the message of the SF Black Student Union - to a better place. Affect change - not only at the SF State University where "change" in badly needed - but to the community at large - where discrimination, racial profiling, gentrification, lack of opportunities - and the current Economic Crisis - have hit Blacks harder then any one single ethnic - community.
