Oakland merchants are sponsoring a Celebrate 17th on 17th Street, to bring merchants and residents together to aid the small minority and women-owned business district impacted by the aftermath of the killing of young Oscar Grant. The street will be closed 2 to 5 on Saturday and we are inviting musicians and community groups to stroll and table.
