Friday, January 9, 2009 : NEW YORK – In light of recent media reports that 25 hunger striking detainees at Guantánamo are being force-fed through tubes in their noses, the American Civil Liberties Union sent an urgent letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates urging him to end the inhumane and unlawful practice.
