Monday, March 17, 2008 : In November 2000, I wrote an article for In These Times titled, “There’s No Place Like Home,” which argued that the presidential candidates were ignoring the U.S. housing crisis. Project Censored, a national investigative journalism project managed by Sonoma State University, subsequently declared the story to be the ninth most overlooked article of the year.
