Amidst a pro-war mobilization to intimidate the Berkeley City Council to back off its strong anti-military recruitment stand, hundreds of community members including veterans, teachers, and students gathered to challenge military recruitment tactics and vigil for over 24 hours in support of the the city council and to demand that the Marines stop recruiting in Berkeley.
