Jose Padilla, once labeled as a most dangerous "al Qaeda terrorist," was sentenced to 17 years of prison yesterday, for a 'crime' that had nothing to do with the initial reason he was arrested back in 2002--namely, that he was about to set off a nuclear "dirty bomb" in an American city that allegedly would have caused thousands of casualties. Worse yet, Padilla was an American citizen who was stripped of his Constitutional right of fair trial; instead, he was declared an "enemy combatant" by an illegal White House Occupier, kept in total isolation for almost 4 years in a military brig, and subjected to mental and physical torure tactics which turned him into a near vegetable, according to neutral experts who examined Padilla...
