The SVP is an anti-immigrant themed rightist political party in Switzerland, also called the 'People's party'. It was favored to win the election which was held yesterday, Oct 20. A chaotic protest broke out at an October 6. 2007 SVP rally in Bern. 18 were injured and 42 people were detained
