Friday, October 5, 2007 : SAN LEANDRO, Calif. -- The Asian Indian population in the United States is about to hit 2.5 million, reports India West quoting data released by the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2006 the number reached 2,482,141. Indians in the United States have increased by more than 800,000 in seven years.
