Saturday, September 29, 2007 : VISTA, Calif. -- A story in La Opinion describes the very precarious and dangerous conditions many day laborers living in Vista, California find themselves in. According to the report, somewhere between 300 to 400 day laborers who build the homes of the very wealthy must live in makeshift tents in the forest for fear of immigration authorities.
