Earthjustice Beats Back Dick Cheney's Klamath Interference

The Klamath Basin irrigator's anti-salmon crusade ended two weeks ago, when the appellate court rejected their last ditch effort to resurrect Dick Cheney's cynical plan to give water to irrigators at the expense of salmon, steelhead and other species. Cheney's political machinations resulted in the largest fish kill in U.S. history in September 2002. Earthjustice deserves a big round of applause for fighting the legal battle to restore the Klamath River.
