Parcel A on Hunters Point now belongs to the City and County of San Francisco. Mayor Gavin Newsom bears responsibility for liability and the hot spots found on Parcel A. Some of the hot spots have radiological elements and we have the Department of Public Works (DPW) now working on Parcel A without the constituents of San Francisco knowing a thing. Parcel A is very contaminated and yet Mayor Gavin Newsom with San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) wants to build 1600 homes in the middle of Chernobyl.
