Support Bayview-Hunters' Point Referendum Effort
Last month, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to approve the Bayview-Hunters' Point Redevelopment Plan, thus opening up the prospect that, in coming years, long-term residents and merchants of Bayview-Hunters' Point will find their properties forcibly seized via eminent domain, and / or find themselves otherwise dislocated or priced out of their community. Under the leadership of Bayview residents and activists, an effort is currently underway to put the Bayview-Hunters' Point Redevelopment Plan before San Francisco voters as a referendum this coming November.
