In an interesting essay published May 16 in the SF Examiner, Bevan Dufty argues that “SF housing should not be a zero sum game”. In the essay, Dufty tours some key pieces of his own failed legislation and unsuccessfully attempts to justify his pro-downtown motives, as well as his history of opposing the interests of renters.
