Chronicles of Dissent - Interviews of Noam Chomsky by David Barsamian
While this interview series represents only excerpts and was recorded in 1986, the dialogue is more important today than ever before. In some of the interviews, Chomsky discusses important aspects of his U.S. Propaganda Model as it relates to our State Supported Capitalism. He also discusses the source of Dershowitz's enmity toward him. It's an enlightening, ripping good read. The most thorough proof of the Model can be found in "Necessary Illusions - Thought Control in Democratic Societies," assuming of course that you can even get hold of a copy these days. The last copy I have been able to find was at the Anarchist Bookstore located on Haight Street in San Francisco.
