On May 11, 2005, Pablo Paredes, a U.S. Navy Petty Officer, 3rd Class, will face a court martial for refusing to fight in the Iraq war. In Dec. 2004, Pablo refused to board a Navy ship as it left San Diego, Ca., becoming the first Navy personnel to refuse to go. I interviewed Pablo by email on May 6, 2005.
