A MAN charged with threatening the life of US Vice President Dick Cheney during a campaign visit has been jailed by a federal judge until a bond hearing later in the week. Homer Shoup, 51, was expected to be appointed a lawyer in time for the bond hearing, said Faron Paramore, resident agent in charge of the US Secret Service in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
