FORT STEWART, Ga. -- Witness testimony is expected to get under way Thursday in the court-martial of a U.S. soldier accused of deserting his unit in Iraq. Staff Sgt. Camilo Mejia was charged after failing to report back for duty after a two-week furlough in October. The Florida National Guardsman turned himself in after five months.
