Where do we go from here?
The initial wave of protests against the start of war with Iraq have died down. As stirring as they were, they have not stopped the war. The struggle continues. The next step is to go beyond mere demonstrations to political strikes against the war, coupled with demonstrations and civil disobedience. Shutting down war production and the movement of war materiel, and if possible the U.S. economy as a whole, and bringing millions of militant protesters out into the streets, should be the highest priority. That will require revolutionary leadership, and ousting the centrist misleaders of ANSWER.
