ACTUP-SF Wins Wonderful United Front
ACTUP-SF now has a united front across the nation opposing the San Francisco Democratic Party Machine's frameup of ACTUP-SF members David Pasquarelli and Michael Petrelis, who were jailed on November 28, 2001 on conspiracy and stalking charges involving nuisance phone calls, which electioneering Democratic District Attorney Terence Hallinan has elevated to felonies and demanded excessive, unconstitutional $500,000 bail for each man. This is clearly a civil liberties case.
