 throughout the community. The conflict was sparked by police intervention 
 on behalf of US-based multinational Wal-Mart, whose plans to build a 
 megastore in nearby Texcoco are being vigorously resisted by native Nahua 
 farmers and flower vendors. Latest information from Mexico City:Javier 
 Cortés Santiago, a 14 year old boy, was shot to death by police 
 Wednesday207 arrested, including 13 foreigners At least 40 more are 
 unaccounted for 42 civilians injured, many beaten, 6 in the hospital in 
 critical condition. Barbara Zamora, a prisoners' lawyer reporting from 
 within Almoloyita Prison states that women were raped by police. The 
 Atenco-based Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierra, EZLN (Zapatistas), 
 Other Campaign, Mexico Indymedia, Mexico City Free Media Center (CML-DF), 
 Mexico Solidarity Network and many others are calling for solidarity 
 actions via protests, phone campaigns and email campaigns directed at
