 Pressing Beyond and in Between  written and performed by Soha Al-Jurf  
 Pressing Beyond and in Between is a Palestinian-American playwright and 
 performer’s exploration of social, political and personal boundaries.  
 8pm: Reception with Hope Under Siege photographers Aisha Mershani and Lisa 
 Nessan  Hope Under Siege is a collaborative photo exhibit exposing the 
 Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and people. Documentary 
 photographers Aisha Mershani and Lisa Nessan capture resistance to Israeli 
 occupation and the life under occupation in Palestine. The images in this 
 diverse collection of photographs go beyond the headlines of the mainstream 
 media toward a deeper understanding of what the reality looks like on the 
 ground in West Bank, Palestine.  Exhibit on view May 13-26  Michelle 
 O'Conner Gallery 2111 Mission Street SF  Tuesday-Friday 3-6pm  Saturday and
