 Francisco  & Build & Maintain It Today  with guests  Lee Davis, California 
 Studies Professor at SFSU  Professor Davis will discuss the role of 
 construction workers in building housing for displaced San Francisco 
 working people during the 1906 earthquake and the role of unions in the 
 reconstruction.  Also Labor On the Job covered the commemoration march on 
 April 18, 2006 of building trades workers, fire fighters and others who 
 commemorated the workers who rebuilt San Francisco after the San Francisco 
 earthquake. It will also include a reading by UBC22 carpenter Bob Mattacola 
 of part of the dairies of George W. Farris who was member of Carpenters 
 Local 22 in 1906 and worked to rebuild the city in the aftermath of the 
 quake.    "Labor On The Job" is programmed the 2nd and 4th Friday of the 
 month on San Francisco Cable Channel 29 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. "Labor On 
 The Job" is also the longest running labor cable show in the United States 
 since 1983. It is produced and programmed by the Labor Video Project in San 
 Francisco. The Labor Video Project also produces "Labor Line" which is 
 programmed every Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM on San Francisco Comcast 
 Cable channel 29.  Labor On The Job also programmed on Philadelphia Drexel 
 TV 54 every Wednesday 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and St. Louis cable systems on on 
 cable ch. 22 in the "City" of St. Louis Fridays at 9:00 PM  The Labor Video
