 that helps writers and small presses publicize their work by hosting 
 reading and other literary events, facilitating publishing relationships 
 between writers and presses and creating a community among new literary 
 voices.  This month Ecstatic Monkey presents Kevin Hobson and Peter Orner, 
 whose new book The Second Coming of Mavala Shikongo, will be celebrated.  
 Peter Orner is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and the Rome Prize from 
 the American Academyof Arts and Letters.  He is on the faculty at San
