 annual silent art auction, Picture Progress, on March 31, 2006. You'll see 
 artwork from some of San Francisco's best artists side by side with the 
 city's young, emerging artists. It will be an exciting show with over 
 eighty artists using a variety of mediums and styles. Drinks, food, jazz 
 and great company provided.  Short speeches by State Assemblyman Mark Leno, 
 SF People's Organization President Jane Kim, League of Young Voters 
 California Organizer Natasha Marsh and Vote 415 Core Organizers Heather 
 Carllson (also UHW Training Director) and Pilar Schiavo (SF Labor Council 
 Political Director).  Some of the participating artists are John Fortes, 
 Lewis Watts, Ray Potes, Norman Locks, Ben Barneclo, Ingeborg Gerdes, Mary 
 Law, Gary Holt, Ian Scalzo, Louise Stroe, Andrew Stanbridge, Jason Adams, 
 Sofia Bowart, Shelby White, Belle Chesler, Terry Cunnif, Andy Taiko and 
 Lars Rasmussen.  Your support is greatly appreciated in this important 
 election year. Every penny earned this night will go to support the hard 
 work of the League to ensure progressive victories across the nation in
