DESCRIPTION:In an effort to foster diversity, initiate aesthetic adventurousness, and 
 highlight the connection between Bay Area artists and booklovers, Modern 
 Times has been developing a series of limited edition T-shirts designed by 
 selected local and political artists.  Ellory Russian will debut her most 
 recent work—the latest Modern Times Bookstore t-shirt design.  Also known 
 as Hellery Homosex, Ellery is a Seattle artist,  zine writer, disability 
 activist, drag performer, documentary film maker, community organizer, and 
 Doctor of Physical Therapy,  Ellery has two artificial legs and loves 
 three-legged dogs and dogs in wheelchairs.  Ellery is also a Collective 
 Member of Left Bank Books—Seattle’s Anarchist collective bookstore 
 since 1973.  Join us for snacks, good music, great books, and our newest
