 Association and the Ecology Center as we present \n\nP O W E R  F O R  T H 
 E  P E O P L E:\nA forum on public power, solar power and community control 
 of energy\n\nSpeakers will include: \n\n*Paul Fenn, Director of Local Power 
 and publisher of American Local Power News. Mr. Fenn authored the 
 voter-approved San Francisco Prop H, the 2001 renewable energy and 
 efficiency revenue bond authority, and an accompanying plan to build the 
 world's largest urban solar utility . Before that he authored the nation's 
 first state laws, in Massachusetts and Ohio, allowing communities to choose 
 an alternative energy provider through a city council-administered 
 competitive bidding process ("Community Choice"). \n\n*Cynthia Wooten - Bay 
 Area energy issues activist, solar and renewables advocate and founder of 
 East Bay Power.  Ms Wooten has initiated the move in the East Bay towards 
 our local municipal utilities district providing electricity rather than 
 PG&E.   Ms. Wooten is a former Oregon State Legislator. \n\n*Eugene Coyle, 
 Energy Economist. Mr. Coyle lectures widely and has made numerous radio and 
 television appearances. He has taught at colleges and universities and has 
 testified on energy issues before government agencies in the US, Brazil, 
 Australia and France.\n\nCost:  $5 - $15, sliding scale, no one turned away
