DESCRIPTION:Friends of Lafferty Park will lead their eighth monthly "Walk to the Park," 
 a 7-mile road walk and protest march to urge Sonoma County to help open the 
 long-awaited park on Sonoma Mountain, on Sunday, August 18.  Marchers will 
 meet in downtown Petaluma on the roof of the Keller St. garage (Keller and 
 Western Streets) at 10:30, and will march through town and up Sonoma 
 Mountain to the (closed) gate of Petaluma's magnificent public land at 
 Lafferty Ranch.  Shuttles will return walkers to town around 3:30.  Call
