DESCRIPTION:Petaluma Critical Mass has been enduring some hardships as of late with the 
 Petaluma Police. we have been illegally ticketed and cited with false laws, 
 assaulted, and had our basic civil liberties violated. at one ride, we were 
 told we were not allowed to observe the police as they ticketed a fellow 
 rider. also, we were told we had to ride in single file, although that 
 particular traffic law was struck down 6 years ago. we were told by one 
 officer, when a rider claimed he was exercising his first amendment right 
 of assembly, the officer replied, "You have no rights."  it is crucial that 
 everyone in the area come out and show their solidarity. if you do not own 
 a bike, the Peoples Revolutionary Organization will provide you with one. 
 please wear a helmet (if under 18) and bring a light for your bike, as the 
 cops have ticketed us for that in the past. we cannot let the forces of 
 fear and repression take over our town. we must reclaim the streets.\n
