 \n\nLadyfest Bay Area is coming to San Francisco’s Mission District! This 
 arts and activism festival will feature five days of lady-\nand trannymade 
 music, film/video, visual art, spoken word, theater and workshops. Ladyfest 
 Bay Area is pleased to present The\nDonnas, Bratmobile, Medusa, Sisterz of 
 the Underground, The Gossip, Erase Errata (and 30+ bands); Michelle Tea, 
 Penny\nArcade, Nomy Lamm, Loolwa Khazzoom (and 30+ spoken word artists); a 
 MadCat Women’s International Film Festival\nretrospective and 
 “Reframing 9/11: Women’s Art & Activism” (and 85+ films); “Fighting 
 Body Fascism” and an indie publishing\npanel with the editors of Bitch 
 and ROCKRGRL (and 50+ workshops); multiple gallery exhibits including 
 “POW! The Power of\nWomen in Illustrative and Sequential Art” and 
 “We’re still Feminists: New Art from a Renewed Movement”; plus much 
 more. \n\nLadyfest Bay Area is open to people of all ages and genders. 
 \n\nLadyfest Bay Area performances, workshops and shows will be held at the 
 following San Francisco venues: Mission High\nSchool (3750 18th Street), 
 the LGBT Center (1800 Market Street), Brava! For Women in the Arts (2781 
 24th Street),\nVictoria Theatre (2961 16th Street), Pond Gallery (214 
 Valencia Street), Mission Creek Café (968 Valencia Street),\nSpanganga 
 Gallery (3376 19th Street), CELLspace (2050 Bryant Street), Artists’ 
 Television Access (992 Valencia Street) and\nNew College Theater (777 
 Valencia Street). \n\nTickets: 3-day passes ($55-$90, sliding scale) and 
 5-day passes ($70-$100, sliding scale) can be purchased online
