DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the release of Father Gerard Jean Juste fro illegal incarceration 
 in Haiti!  This event is a fundraiser for the legal defense of political 
 prisoners in Haiti through the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund  Food and music 
 celebraton followed by panel discussion with former political prisoners 
 about their experiences, current political prisoners, why they are there 
 and what can be done.  GUEST SPEAKERS:  Sergio Maradoli: a survivor of the 
 U.S. backed coup d’etat of the Allende government of Chile in 1973. 
 Sergio along with thousands of other Chileans became a political prisoner. 
 He was held for 31 months until he was released with help from Amnesty 
 International  Jimmy Simmons: Former member of the American Indian 
 Movement, he was imprisoned in Washington state and almost sentenced to 
 death, with help from famous attorney Leonard Weinglass he is now free and 
 an activist who educates people about political prisoner Leonard Peltier.  
 Richard Brown: Former political prisoner and member of the Black Panther 
 Party  Duclos Benisoit: President of Public Transport Workers of Haiti, and 
 a pro-democracy activist who was forced into exile from Haiti after the 
 US-backed coup against the elected government of Jean-Bertrand Aristide on 
 February 29, 2004.   Come join us for a night of celebration, education,
