 International Relations Form  Izabela Filipiak is a well-known author in 
 Poland with 9 books to her   credit. She is a prominent spokesperson 
 nationally for the LGBT   community of her country. Additionally, she has 
 been a public figure,   with a   list of press commentaries and essays 
 written on subjects of   contemporary   politics, society and culture.  In 
 this forum she is will discuss the unanticipated political   ramifications 
 of European Union membership for the Polish women's   movement and   LGBT 
 rights.  She will also address her views on the future prospects   for 
 change. The conservative Law and Justice Party that forms the   majority in 
 the newly formed Polish cabinet has recently moved against   LGBT   rights
