DESCRIPTION:Animal Liberation: History in the Making Film Series on Animal Agony \n
 HumanistHall@Yahoo.com http://www.HumanistHall.net Presented by
 Christine Morrissey Animal Rights Advocates
http://www.eastbayanimaladvocates.org This film documents the actions of
the Animal Liberation Movement worldwide. From the classic scenes of the
first ALF raids on British laboratories and factory farms; to the legendary
voyages of the Sea Shepherd fleet, ramming ships on the high seas to shut
down illegal whaling and sealing operations; to the ELF, dedicated to
taking the profit motive out of environmental destruction by causing
economic damage to businesses; to activists of the ALF using non-violent
direct action in the defense of non-human life.
http://www.rootsofcompassion.org \n\nJake Conroy of the SHAC 7 will make
a special appearance and presentation. Refreshments this evening will be
sponsored by Compassionate Cooks and Vegan Lust and will include vegan
desserts, wine, and cider. \nhttp://www.compassionatecooks.org and
   http://www.veganlust.com \n\nBefore and after the film, everyone's
invited to indulge in our Humanist Coffee House. The films are FREE but
 $5-$25 donations are accepted.\n
