DESCRIPTION:        Mothers Against Senseless Killings                          
 M.A.S.K. Support Group  A Mothers, Wives and extended family members 
 support group will start on November 29, 2005. Between the hours of 4:30 
 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  At, 598 Nevin Street/ Nevin Community Center in Richmond, 
 Ca.      Currently serving over (100) Mothers and extended family member 
 primarily in the city of Richmond, Ca.  We also work with Mothers in 
 surrounding Bay Area Cities, who'd lost family members to gun-violence here 
 in the city of Richmond.   We provide emotinal support, information, 
 advocacy we also accept poems and short articles for our monthly newsletter 
 "M.A.S.K. HEALS"   Our services include working directly with Victims of 
 Crime Services.  We also do direct Crime Scene intervention to provide 
 emotinal support, information,referrals and provide applications and forms

 who need  grief and trauma support and services, plans are underway to open 
 up two more groups at different site locations. One of the other site 
 locations will be held at the Redevelopment Community Room located at 314 
 11 Street in Richmond, Ca.  The groups are free of charge to the Mothers 
 and family members who were denied Victims of Crime Services.  MIssion 
 Statement:  It is our mission to educate and promote healthier lifestyles 
 by raising the level of consciousness about the harmful consequences of gun 
 violence within homes, schools, nieghborhoods and communities.  Khadeyah    
 In June 2003 M.A.S.K. was formed with two mothers, since that time we have 
 connected with over 100 Mothers here in the city of Richmond.  In January 
 2005 Mothers Against Senseless Killings was awarded a grant by the Offices 
 of Victims of Crime/Department of Justice to help our program expand.  \n
