DESCRIPTION:Southeast SF residents continue to suffer disproportionately from a myriad 
 of health impacts triggered by this polluting plant. Rates of cervical and 
 breast cancer are double the rate found in other parts of SF.  Furthermore, 
 one in every six children has asthma in Bayview Hunters Point!  Since 1998, 
 the City of SF and PG&E have failed to keep their promises to close this 
 outdated plant.  We are demanding that PG&E follow through on the next 
 proposed closure date.  Southeast SF residents should not have to bear the 
 burden of toxic exposure in order to generate electricity used by the 
 greater Bay Area. This is environmental racism and it must stop now!  \n
