 Develop new hobbies or revive long dormant passions?  Replace hurry and 
 pressure with calm and free time? Cecile Andrews, author of "Circle of 
 Simplicity", will speak about making time for friends, family, community, 
 nature, creativity, and an inner life.  Small group discussions will follow 
 on how we can live the Slow Life in all parts of our lives.  This is a 
 gathering of Bay Area Simplicity Circles, groups dedicated to exploring 
 topics related to Voluntary Simplicity.  Anyone interested in the topic is 
 encouraged to attend.  Opportunities to join simplicity circles in your 
 neighborhood will be available.  Date:  Sunday, October 30, 2005  Time:  
 5-8 pm  Location:  Lake Merritt United Methodist Church, 1330 Lakeshore 
 Avenue, Oakland.  Cost:  Donation of $3 requested; no one turned away for 
 lack of funds.  Food:  This is a potluck event.  Please bring a dish to
