 of the Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute (MCLI), a center for Human 
 Rights and Peace Law which seeks to promote social change by increasing the 
 recognition and use of existing human rights and peace law at the local,

 Allison  After serving 4 years as a combat medic in the Army Reserves, 
 Aimee Allison earned an honorable discharge as a Conscientious Objector 
 during the Persian Gulf War. Today, she supports soldiers applying for CO 
 discharges and writes and speaks about the experience and role of GI 
 resistance in ending the war.  She is now a leader in Counter-recruitment, 
 including the ‘College Not Combat’ Initiative.
