 Van Jones for  "SPIRIT OF FREEDOM:  Honoring the Families of Incarcerated 
 Children."  **  THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 7-9PM  First Congregational Church 
 in Oakland  *  The past two weeks have shown how important it is to stand 
 with families that have been abandoned by our government. Young people and 
 people of color who are trapped in jail cells or left behind in flood 
 waters deserve our undivided support. On the heels of our September 10th 
 event in support of families from New Orleans, and as our campaign to close 
  the CYA verges on major victory, we take this opportunity to link efforts. 
  *  Ermica Wilson, a gospel singer evacuated from New Orleans will bless us 
 with her beautiful voice*. Family members from Louisiana now in the Bay 
 Area will be present. * *  We will honor the struggle and success of the 
 families of young people locked up in California's abusive and costly youth 
 prisons. *This is a rare opportunity to hear from families and honor their 
 strength to fight for a new juvenile justice system.* Bring your family and
