DESCRIPTION:Join Bay Area Vegetarians as we stick up for the chickens and protest the 
 Colonel's secret ingredient (animal cruelty) at the San Rafael KFC at 555 
 Second Street.  New or experienced activists are welcome. This is a low-key 
 protest, all signs and leaflets provided. We do this monthly, usually 
 happening on the 1st Friday but check calendar to confirm. If you can't 
 make this date but want to help at future ones, please email me.  For more 
 info on this nationwide campaign to get KFC to mandate better conditions 
 for the chickens slaughtered, click here  Now that fall is approaching, 
 rain still cancels (hey, it was raining in June!). Fog is okay :-) Please 
 RSVP if possible so we can contact you in case of last-minute weather
