DESCRIPTION:Support the ANG Urbanite newspaper workers   in their struggle for a fair 
 contract  Support Rally  Noon, Thursday, 1 September  Oakland Tribune, 13th 
 & Broadway  The Pressmen, Reeltenders and Mailers of the ANG Urbanite press 
 plant, who print the Oakland Tribune, Hayward Daily Review and other East 
 Bay papers, are working without a contract since February 7, 2005.  The 
 workers are members of the Northern California Media Workers 
 Union-Typographical Sector, CWA Local 39521. They are paid one of the 
 lowest wages for pressmen in the Bay area. and ANG Newspapers refuses to 
 give a fair wage increase. Healthcare costs will gut the workers' wages 
 even further. ANG Refuses to give the Union-represented workers the same 
 benefits they provide for their non-union employees at ANG, such as sick 
 leave.  For seven months the Pressroom workders have worked hard as always, 
 to produce the Oakland Tribune, Hayward Daily Review and other papers. They 
 deserve fair compensation.  Please support the Pressroom workers at ANG, 
 who have given years to the copany and have families to provide for, Join 
 us on September 1 in front of the Oakland Tribune. They need the
