 interdisciplinary art, and art as activism.  Each evening includes panel 
 discussions and the premiere of Intersection's Hybrid Project 1965/2005 
 featuring groundbreaking new work by some of the boldest young artists 
 working today sharing a glimpse of what the future holds.  Friday June 24  
 Sean San Jose, Program Director at Intersection for the Arts, moderates a 
 discussion with writer Jessica Hagedorn, visual artist & educator Tim 
 Rollins, poet & performer Genny Lim, choreographer Alonzo King, and visual 
 artist Stephanie Syjuco  Saturday June 25  Deborah Cullinan, Executive 
 Director of Intersection, moderates a discussion with writer & performer 
 Guillermo Gomez-Pena, artist & lighting designer Stephanie Johnson, 
 choreographer Robert Moses, writer & performer Ntozake Shange, and composer 
 & musician Marcus Shelby  Each evening will be concluded by the premiere of 
 Intersection's Hybrid Project 1965/2005 featuring brand new collaborative 
 work by an array of young artists who will be sharing a glimpse of what the 
 future holds, including Erin Mei-Ling Stuart with EmSpace Dance & DJ 
 Aspect; Printz Dance Project & Jigsaw Collective (Jimmy Tran, Jose Vadi, 
 Josh Begley & Michelle Mush Lee);  Tim Barsky, Mina Liccione & Each (Mike 
 Tinoco) and Proyecto Corazon.  INTERSECTION FOR THE ARTS is celebrating its 
 40th Anniversary this year. Intersection is San Francisco's oldest 
 alternative art space and provides a place where provocative ideas, diverse 
 art forms, artists and audiences can intersect one another.  At 
 Intersection, experimentation and risk are possible, debate and critical 
 inquiry are embraced, community is essential, resources and experience are 
 democratized, and today's issues are thrashed about in the heat and 
 immediacy of live art.\n
