DESCRIPTION:THE KURDS AND IRAQ:  A discussion by Kurds and their Allies  on the Current 
 Situation in Iraq  Sunday, June 19th  11:30 AM to  6:00 PM  New College of

 District  Street Parking  The Kurds are among the most marginalized yet 
 powerful indigenous groups struggling for empowerment and survival in the 
 new global order.  This event brings together four speakers who are Kurds 
 and friends of Kurds, offering interventions to impact our knowledge 
 towards social change,  human rights, and the dream of ethical states. This 
 event will offer the public a chance to hear from and ask questions of 
 Kurds and their allies whose lives are more directly affected by current 
 events concerning the Iraqi state. Please join us for LUNCH and an
