DESCRIPTION:The forum will explore the connections between  US-backed repression abroad 
 and at home, linking the  struggle of political prisoners to the global 
 struggle  against imperialism. The forum is being organized and  hosted by 
 a new student human rights group on the  Foothill campus called SERV 
 (Students Ending Rights  Violations). It will explore what youth in 
 particular  and people in general can do inside of the US to  struggle in 
 solidarity with political prisoners and  all oppressed peoples fighting for 
 full human rights.  Where: Foothill College, Appreciation Hall auditorium  
 When: Wednesday, June 8th, 7-9 PM  Panelists include:  * Sergio Maradoli, a 
 survivor of the US-backed coup  d'etat in Chile where he was subjected to 
 extensive  torture and incarceration.  * Claude Marks, a former political 
 prisoner in the  United States, who is currently the director of the  
 Freedom Archives Project.  * Kiilu Nyasha, a former member of the Black 
 Panther  Party, who has worked extensively with political  prisoners and 
 liberation movements throughout the  world.  * Pierre Labbossiere, 
 co-founder of the Haiti Action  Committee, who is working closely with 
 political  prisoners in Haiti and struggling for their release.   For more
