DESCRIPTION:Israeli Robi Damelin’s 28 year-old son David was killed by a Palestinian 
 sniper three years ago in the West Bank. Palestinian Nadwa Sarandah’s 
 sister Naila was stabbed to death by a Jewish settler on the streets of 
 East Jerusalem.  Both are determined to transform their loss and grief into 
 hope for a peaceful future between their two peoples. They are living 
 examples of the possibility of reconciliation.   This nationwide speaking 
 tour is organized by the Parents’ Circle, the Fellowship of 
 Reconciliation’s Interfaith Peace-Builders in Washington, DC, and the 
 Resource Center for Nonviolence in Santa Cruz. Robi Damelin and Nadwa 
 Saranda are members of The Parents’ Circle, made up of hundreds of 
 Israeli and Palestinian bereaved families who have lost loved ones as a 
 result of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.  Organized in Modesto by the 
 Modesto Peace/Life Center, hosted by the Modesto Church of the Brethren.   
 $5-20 sliding scale donation. All proceeds benefit the work of the 
 Parents’ Circle.  Directions: From the North; From Hwy 99, take 
 Briggsmore exit, turn RIGHT at top of overpass onto Carpenter. Proceed down 
 Carpenter to Woodland (2nd stoplight), turn RIGHT, proceed to 2301 (just 
 past Rosemore). Turn RIGHT at Dan West Ct.   Directions: From the South; 
 From Hwy 99, take Briggsmore exit, turn LEFT at top of overpass onto 
 Carpenter. Proceed as described above.\n
