DESCRIPTION:Not in Our Name Bay Area  Mass Mailing Party  Pizza and drinks to fuel 
 processing of fundraising letter.  Tuesday, May 17 and  Wednesday, May 18  
 6:30 PM - 9 PM  Not in Our Name Office  3945 Opal Street, Oakland  At 40th 
 Street, near Broadway - a short walk towards the hills from MacArthur BART. 
  This is a huge project. Thousands of envelopes to stuff, seal and stamp! 
 There is absolutely no licking involved. This is a great way for anybody 
 (yes, you!) to step right up and make a contribution to the anti-war 
 movement.  In the last two weeks alone, Not in Our Name Bay Area has 
 co-hosted a fun-filled evening of anti-war square dancing, co-sponsored 
 regional tours by military war resisters Kevin Benderman and Camilo Mejia, 
 and contributed significant resources to the May 10 National Day of Action 
 to Support GI Resisters.  We are very proud that these efforts raised 
 thousands of dollars, and invaluable public attention, for those that have 
 demonstrated their courage to resist unjust war. However, Not in Our Name 
 now needs to rely on this public appeal to meet our own operating expenses 
 so that we can continue this work -- which is moving full speed ahead with 
 the Sunday, May 29 "Military Voices Against the War" event in Berkeley 
 featuring the leading voices from across the country.  \n
