 are:\n \n1. Dan Gillmor, technology columnist for the San Jose Mercury News 
 \nconsidered one of the most influential journalists in his field\n2. Beth 
 Givens, founder and director of the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse(est 
 1992),\nthe only complaint/information hotline on informational privacy 
 issues.\nShe is the author of books on privacy rights and preventing 
 identity theft.\n3. Jon Johansen and the writers of DeCSS. As a teenager, 
 the Norwegian \nwrote a program to enable playing DVD movies on Linux and 
 released the \nsource code worldwide. Linux had not been possible under the 
 MPAA \nencryption scheme. The MPAA filed charges leading to his been 
 charged \nas a criminal hacker in Norway, the trial is scheduled for this 
 June. \n\nThis event is free and open to the public.\n
