DESCRIPTION:  To the people of the world: Mexico has a fledgling  democracy that has 
 been achieved with significant  difficulty. In the past days, our life as a 
 democratic  society has been placed in danger by our Federal  Government 
 and some state representatives from the PRI  and PAN parties. They have 
 impeached the mayor of  Mexico City, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in an  
 arbitrary and unjust process. The actions taken by the  Federal Government 
 and the majority of the PRI and PAN  representatives are not in the pursuit 
 of justice or  legality but are justified only by their interest in  
 winning the 2006 presidential election. The Federal  Government and our 
 state representatives are no longer  representing the interests of the 
 Mexican people.  We want a future for Mexico without corruption and  
 injustice in our country!  Mexican students and scholars abroad invite the 
 people  in the world to witness what is happening in our  country and we 
 request your support for movements in  favor of Mexican democracy.  An

LOCATION:A todos aquellos interesados en defender la democracia en México, se  les 
 invita a ser parte de una manifestación pacífica que se llevará  a cabo 
 en distintas ciudades del mundo el próximo domingo 24 de  abril.  Para 
 protestar en el área de la bahía, se convoca a una marcha que  dará 
 inicio en el Ferry building (Esquina de Embarcadero con  Market), a las 
 12:00 AM. La marcha avanzará por la calle de  Embarcadero a partir de las 
 13:00, y se congregará en frente del  Parque acuático (zona de muelles), 
 en la esquina de Jefferson y  Hyde. Ahí se realizará un plantón hasta 
 las 15:00. Finalmente, nos  desplazaremos en dirección de Marina para 
 tomar fotos de la protesta  con fondo del puente Golden Gate, sitio 
 emblemático de la ciudad.  Invitation to protest against the impeachment

 people interested in the defense of democracy in  Mexico to participate in 
 a pacific demonstration that is being  organized worldwide next Sunday 
 April 24th,  To protest in the Bay area, we invite you to participate in a 
 Rally  that will start at the Ferry Building (Embarcadero and Market St) at 
  noon. At 13:00 we will start to walk towards the aquatic Park along  
 Embarcadero st. and we will stop in front of the aquatic Park  (Jefferson 
 st. and Hyde st). We will be there until 15:00 and then  we will move again 
 towards marina, to take pictures of the protest  with the Golden Gate 
 Bridge as a background.
