 want.   Gustavo Castro Soto is a sociologist, researcher and co-director at 
 the Center for Economic and Political Research for Community Action 
 (CIEPAC) in San Crostobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.  CIEPAC’s 
 political and economic research provides the basis for popular education 
 workshops and assemblies in communities throughout the state of Chiapas.  
 It also provides analysis of the current issues throughout Mexico and
