DESCRIPTION:As many of you know by now, Friday morning the SFNE was informed that we 
 would no longer receive SFDPH AIDS Office funding (this is the only funding 
 for SFNE and administrative funding for HAYOT). I don't need to explain to 
 any of you how socially irresponsible this decision is. SFNE began in 1997 
 as an underground exchange it only became legal 3 years ago when we began 
 to receive city funds, it has and continues to be the only NE for the 
 homeless youth and housed IDU  of the Haight.   I am writing to ask of you 
 to show your support by writing our district supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, Tom 
 Ammiano and send copies of these letters to me(Mary), Jimmy Loyce, and 
 Steven Tierney. This matter is urgent please find time today to do this.
