DESCRIPTION:This class will provide those interested with a general overview and 
 discussion of various forms of anarchist thought and organizing strategies. 
 One topic will be covered per week presented by different lecturers.  This 
 week's topic:  Anarchist Movements in the Global South--Come learn about 
 contemporary anti-authoritarian revolutionary movements in Algeria, 
 Argentina, Bolivia, and China; in addition to past models occuring in Iran 
 and West Africa. We will also discuss the importantance of indigenous 
 anti-authoritarian philosophies and the role of an anti-statist national 
 consciousness to combat white supremacist imperialism.  Classes will be 
 held every Sunday from 3:30-6:00 pm, and are free and open to the public.
