 to write a 500 word essay in response to the John F. Kennedy quote: "War 
 will exist until that distant day when the conscientious objector enjoys 
 the same reputation and prestige that the warrior does today."  The top ten 
 students will read aloud their essays, which will be scored and ranked by a 
 panel of judges from the community.  A total of $5,000 will be awarded in
